The Flag Iris are just coming into flower in the pond and we have had one or two lilies out, not much sign of the fish though having been either eaten or thoroughly spooked by the Heron that was visiting before the vegetation grew back, plenty of toadpoles and newts though.
Viv planted the corgettes in the new raised bad whilst I was away in Maryport.
Glad to see the Robin family are doing well on the back of the pottery we thought they had been abandoned at one point and regularly have to tilt the nest box back upright after strong winds blow it sideways but they don't seem to mind.
The Pottery looks an inviting place to be in the morning sunshine, doors open as the kiln on.
