Viv had her shoulder operation in Nottingham yesterday, back home today after a night in. The operation went well but unfortunately there was a tear to the rotator cuff that had to be repaired, this will mean she has to wear a sling for the next 6 weeks and it will be painful for a while before it starts to get better. Looks like I'm going to be kept on my toes and she won't be canoeing or windsurfing for a while.
She's gotten into recuperation mode quite quickly though as can be seen below!
Gareth and Vicky sent her lovely bunch of flowers, even the chap delivering them commented on the variety.
